CityBus is an application designed to track the public transport system in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

• ATTENTION! Location data is accessible for communal vehicles such as trolleys, trams, and buses. Furthermore, only specific bus routes, primarily suburban, are currently available for monitoring and are operated by ATP 16329. However, due to the carrier’s operations, individual vehicles might be operating on routes not reflected in the app. Routes with potentially available vehicles online are uniquely marked.
• Main app function - transport tracking - relies on external GPS data sources. The synchronization between the source and the app is not ensured. Moreover, occasional significant delays in data updates may lead to disparities between the actual position of transport and its depiction in the application.

• - CityBus provides solely factual information, filtering out non-existent data.
• - Favorites feature allows users to save preferred route lists for swift access.
• - Smart View offers an encompassing map view of all GPS-equipped vehicles beyond selected routes upon zooming in.
• - Route Search simplifies finding suitable vehicles by selecting two points on the map and applying filters to search results.
• - Real-time Transition utilizes received coordinate, speed, and direction details to predict vehicle locations accurately, with animated movement display on the map for enhanced tracking.

• - Traffic Optimization integrates all relevant information within the app for a seamless user experience.
• - Speed and Heading Visualization feature enables users to determine vehicle speed and direction at a glance on the map through dynamic changes in marker size and color representation.
• - Color Routes Identification offers an easy distinction between routes using a combination of route numbers and marker colors.
